The Superior East CFDC participates in a number of economic development projects over the course of a year. Many projects are accomplished by partnering with various organizations such as the region’s municipalities, FedNor, MND and other local non-profit organizations.

We may be able to help you hire a youth intern.
The Northeastern Ontario Youth Internship Program, supported by FedNor and brought to you by your local Community Futures Development Corporation, helps post-secondary graduates obtain crucial professional experience and, in turn, provides Northeastern Ontario businesses with access to educated and motivated young people to help support their goals.
Superior East C.F.D.C. will contribute up to 50% (to a maximum of $35,000.00) for the eligible costs of salary, employee benefit expenses, professional/business skills development and associated travel costs for a period of 12 months in a full-time position.
